I wrote this song while listening to a sermon about death and the after-life. The old adage goes, "From ashes to ashes, from dust to dust." Well, that may be true for the rest of the world. But for those of us who claim Jesus as Christ and God, that simply does not tell the full story.

For us, it is dust to glory and ashes to beauty brighter than the sun.
